need urgent help plz!!

hello all!
I want to know how to sex jags.any advice is welcomed!
Actually ive 2 jags about 6-7 inches.(I bought them as they were babies)One is slightly bigger.
The bigger one has thick horizontal black dots.
I have them now for 1 year . They laid eggs for 10-12 times but not a single fry .The eggs didnt hatch!
Can the both jags be females???
im getting impatient to know.

It is quite possible that you have 2 females. Females will lay eggs with other females. Either that, or you have a male and he is shooting blanks. I've been told that the male will be bigger with pointier dorsal and ventral fins and the female will be plump. Other people may be able to add to that.
