29 gal stocking

Well I havent posted on here in almost a year. Lets just say that had been way to long. Anyways on to the point. I just accuired a 29gal fish tank for 30 bucks and I was wondering what you think I should put in there... I was thinking chilids and/or maybe moving my 2 pictus cats 1 upside down car and 1 ropefish into the tank... so lets here those ideas...
 
Depends on the cichlids in question - though most tend to get big and would enjoy more room than a 29 gallon can offer. I'd read up on different types. Angels might be about the best cichlid species for a tank of your size, and given that it's a 29g, it's a high walled tank, which angels enjoy.

Upside down cats will go nice. As would some corys.
 
Ya already got the corys and upside down in a 20 gal right now. I was looking into different types of chilids and was reading on a couple that were smaller and could live in a 29 gal. (although probably would like more :joke: ) . Are there any cool mouthbrooders that could go in a 29 that arnt chilids? Because I think fish that keep there young in there mouths are pretty cool. Also if I put my ropefish and cats in the 19 gal wat could i get with them? (2 pictus, 1 upsidedown, 1 rope)
 
:OT: YaY when I get home from work (web design) I get to build a stand for it... should be a fun project. :p:
 
Well screwed up on some dimensions of the tank so i have to start over tomor... as of friday i should have it set up ill take some pics..
