55gallon with bloodparrots

hi im getting a 55 for my birthday and want maybe 2 blood parrots if possible.... and i want other fish that aren't as big but will get along great with them. any suggestions?

I keep glo-light and head light tail light tetras with mine. If you buy the BP's when little and put the other fish in with them you can have just about anything with them. They pretty much will spend all of their time chasing each other. If I were you I would get 2 Blood Parrots and 12 Tiger Barbs, That would make an awesome looking tank.

In a school of 12 tigerbarbs are not going to bother the BP's.
