Hi all. I purchased 2 small snails for my betta tank. One's an "apple" snail, and I'm note sure of the other one. Anyway, I purchased them last week at pretty small sizes since they're in a small tank. Well, over the weekend, they both grew tremendously!! The apple snail has an inch of new growth on his shell and the other has about 3/4 of an inch of new growth! This happend over only 2-3 days, I swear. Is such rapid growth normal? I know if they have a good food source, they'll grow fast, but I had no idea it would be THAT fast...One of my African Dwarf Frogs died and there wasn't much left of him when I got back to work on Monday, so I'm sure that's a factor. Has anyone else seen such an explosion of growth??
