I am looking on getting a 90G upgrade to my SW tank, Unfortunatly the tank is not Drilled, I am looking in to a HOB skimmer and w/d Setup. What are some brands out there that I can cruise Ebay for?

i have the aqua c remora pro on my 75 gal and am lovin it. ive also heard that the coralife super skimmer is good. cant think of any other good hob's right off the top of my head. do some searching in these forums and stuff will pop up.

I hate to ask but where would I get a tank drilled and how safe/unsafe is it to have a tank drilled

you can try a glass shop/supplier, they should be able to drill a tank for you. if its done correctly its perfectly safe. make sure that you get the back of the tank drilled and not the bottom. 99.99% of the time the bottom of tanks are tempered glass and if its drilled it could shatter. Also, if you decide to not go that route there are hang on overflows that are available for around $50 - $100 i believe depending on the size. I plan on getting a hang on overflow in the near future so i can set up a 20 gallon refugium under my reef. HTH

whats a decent hangon back overflow?

i dont think that brand names are really all that important with an overflow, i mean, they're pretty much all the same. but either way ive read that ocean pro is good. just google it or check ebay.
