Goldfish Tumor? Please help ID what is wrong with my sick fish

I've had my Oranda Goldfish for 2 years now and last month he developed a bump on his hood (the top part of his head). At first I thought it was new growth, but now I'm wondering if it if a tumor or something.

Water quality if fine, but temp. is high (78) (I've started ice-packing). He seems lethargic and stays on the bottom of the tank more often. Although he still greets me when I get up, get home, and any other time I'm right at the tank. He is still eating well.

Tanks specs? Tumors tend to happen more and more often with fancy goldfish because of the genetic mutations that they have to make them look the way they do. It may be a tumor im no ichtyologist (sp) but if it looks like one and the fish is acting strange then it probably is. Does anyone know of any other gorwths a fish might get that resemble a tumor?
 
20g, Whisper 20 (?) filter. Water tested over the weekend and was within the correct ranges. Sorry I don't have more info., I only keep track of my saltwater parameters.

He is the only thing in the tank (2.5-3").

The picture is not great, but it sort of resembles califlower, but is a lighter shade of his natural color.

I dunno, it just doesn't look like a 2 year old goldie to me....

if he seems lethargic, it's probably due to the higher water temp which results in less oxygen for him in the water.
 
Sorry, for the confusion. I don't need help ID-ing the fish (he is an oranda goldfish)...I need help ID-ing what is wrong with him (i.e., the growth)
 
I wasn't ID-ing the fish though, I think because he is an oranda, perhaps this is a new part of that hood. I do know from experience that their hoods should continue to grow as the fish does. Because he is still eating, I tend to think that it isn't affecting him that much and blame the lethargy on the high water temp. 78 is high for even a fancy goldfish, but it seems you know that already. Continue to bring the temp down, he's reacting to the lesser amount of oxygen in the tank due to the heat.
