holes in the fins

please help me out here,

I have a volatin lionfish and suddenly big holes appeared in his big lateral fins. There is redness around every hole. What do you think this is? how would you treat it? he also breathes fast and the base of the lateral fins are also red

one little blue damsel but the damsel doesn't touch him...

Could be the damsel. Watch him carefully. The damsel could be doing it early morning or right when the lights go out.

I started giving it some tea tree oil (i forgot the comercial name) and it helps :) or at least i want to believe that it does :)))
