View Full Version : ideas for a tankmate for a g. severum & firemouth

right now i have a gold severum and a firemouth. I wanted one more smaller cichlid i was thinking about a rainbow cichlid or a Festivum. Would either of these fish be good or is there any other fish i should think about?

I don't know if I'd add a Festivum... That may be overkill... How big are the Gold Severum and Firemouth?

A rainbow cichlid or maybe a sajica would work nicely with both those fish.

i would say the severum is 3 1/2" to 4" and the firemouth is about 2" - 3" im just starting it out right now

I agree with Scotto, Rainbow cichlids (perhaps 2) would be good in there, either that or another Firemouth. :D
