May I ask how long you boil your driftwood for? I have a piece of driftwood, but just soaking it did not make it tank ready. It is a great piece with tunneling, and a couple of holes for a plant or two. But tank got totally messed up. Thank you.

I boil it for about 10 minutes. Some people recomend longer. I find that cypress doesn't really release tannins after being boiled (it may not release them without boiling as well).

I've put several pieces back up on ebay...pretty cheap...I need to move it out.

wow those are some nice pieces. I wish you had some smaller ones... Say 12" long 8" high?

If you want, I'll ship to Canada, but I don't know how much it will cost. Yes, they are nice. I went to a wholesaler that collects them in the swamp. He had enough to fill the back of a tractor trailer. I grabbed what I wanted (the best I think), and the rest went all up and down the eastern seaboard to taxidermy shops.
