I just played a demo of this game over on yahoo games. The priciple is that you breed fish and get them to grow then sell them for money. Sounds good but they incourage you to add growth hormones to the tank to help the fish grow so you can breed them faster and sell the faster. They also incourage you to cross breed the fish and try to make new fish. Theres even a trophy fish program for creating new desirable hybrids. Man I have a felling this game is gonna set the hobby back a bit. I guess the game must of sucked till the added all the crap to give you more to do like cross breeding.

it's just a game, man, and most smart people will know that's not how to care for fish.
 
LMAO!! I have this game. Actually, its what made me get back into fish keeping. Seldom play the game anymore, because it tooooo slooooow. BTW... I didn'tthink you could get fish growth hormones in real life. lol
 
People who think you can magically add hormones to fish to make them bigger and then crossbreed any old species you want by dropping them into a holding tank probably don't even have enough interest or patience to ever get a simple community tank fully cycled. I don't think we have much to worry about. Ever played Insaniquarium? The more you feed your fish, the more money you get. I once had about 30 fish in a tank that couldn't have been more than 640x480 pixels. Talk about overstocking!
 
Just played it. I think it's kinda cool. Even though it's nothing like real fish keeping. And the suppplies are really expensive. $350 per snail!!!!!
