I have a problem with my loach eating my amazon swords. Would it be ok if i put him in a new tank with cichlids? Or would they not get along?

The cichlids will try to eat him when they get bigger.

What type and size Cichlids, are we talking Rams or Kribs sized fish or Oscar sized? How large is your Cichlid tank and does it have a lot of hiding spots? I have a couple of Yoyo's (looking for a couple more) they are fast, hide well, and can be boisterous themselves at times, but I don't know how they would combine with Cichlids?
If any fish in the tank can fit the loach in it's mouth, now or if they will eventually get that large, that's where the loach will end up.

A krib will try to eat a yoyo. Any cichlid that gets over 4-5" and some smaller with big mouths will atempt to catch that yo yo loach. You would belive how my fish go nuts for worms I could see them go insane try to catch that loach lol

I'll take your word for it! ;) I've bred Convicts (no great feat) Owned a Jack for years, (my brother kept him for several more before he died on a cross country move) and have had Bolivians. That's about the extent of my knowledge. So for my stance, Bolivans yes, Convicts and Jacks...... well it would be a grim sight.
