made a HUGE Mistake, HELP

on accident the bottle of declorinator fell into my tank and i think about 4 ML of the chemical escaped into the tank. my filter, emperor 400 on my 37 gal tank started to spew (sp) bubble and then the tank smelled NASTY!

I did a 35% water change im praying for the best in the morning. The only thing thats in there are 8 1" danios. they seem to be doing ok.

Are you sure it was only 4ml? Because that isn't even enough to dechlorinate ten gallons. Hardly a worry.

But even if you dumped a buttload in there, again I wouldn't worry past the water change. The stuff isn't toxic. Do another water change tomorrow of another 20-30%. Not to mention danios are tough as nails. No worries at all.

yea i agree, especially if it was stress coat. it might accrually do good instead of bad lol
