Ok got a new salt water aquarium.
Size is about 1 meter in length by 40cm in height.
I have an Orca Protein Skimmer 25.
My question is, where should the water level be?
Right now its a little under # 2 and at the top of the skimmer, there is a little spout (X on the image) that is kinda overflowing( X) with foam/bubbles.
At first, I had the water level at a little above 4 and it was fine (no spouting foam)(X). But the problem is the water level was too low, so adding water raised the level to between level 1 and 2. The problem is I cant physiaclly raise the skimmer because the top hits the cover of the aquarium.
