Interesting... earlier today you had 1 flowerhorn fish and 20 goldfish, then later you had 5 goldfish and now you have 2 goldfish. Maybe plants aren't your biggest priority here dude.

the goldfish were food for the flowerhorn, BTW. I don't know why he posted them as like they were his pets, though. seems stupid! well, a good wat to plant them is by first cutting the roots to a shorter length, then making a depression in the gravel, then putting the plant in and cover the roots loosely with gravel, so that water can still flow to the roots. what kind of plant are you planting?

Real plants are great, I highly recommend them to anyone that can afford to keep them, BUT plants can be as tough to keep as fish and require many things, most importantly quality light, substrate and fertilizers. Without all of these your plants will not last long and you will end-up with a soupy mess of rotting leaves. So, I guess what I’m getting at is do you have the appropriate lighting and substrate for plants or a plan on doing Co2 and fert dosing?

Since you guys are discussing about this,
How do y'all add plants in an already establish tank? Remove most of the water then only plant it?

Because I find it difficult to make a space with a tank full of water.
