Heya,
I have some gouramis..and was wondering if anyone would know... Does the female tend to have a larger stomach? Looks kinda bloated. Like maybe eggs?

Yup, they sure do :) That is of course if the swelling is not due to a disease or parasite. Hopefully that's not the case.
The females almost always look fuller in the belly than the males.
The odds are she's fine.....just female.

The females tend to have shorter, more rounded fins. They are usually less colorful as well. What kind of Gouramis do you have? from what I understand the pink kissers are impossible to distinguish externally.

The females are not colored as much and they have less finnage. Yes they are also shorter in length and fatter. What kind do you have? I have a male/female pair of Dwarf Gouramis. The male is beautiful.
I have two sunset gouramis
and two honey,blue sunset gouramis. One of them is the fatter one.
used to have two dwarves...my favorites...the female died two days after buying, and the male died after hubby put two sick powdered blue gouramis in.:mad:
Would like to get more dwarves.
