I had in the past mail-ordered some plants, but I can't recall where I might have gotten them. There was only one thread in my search here, but that was for places specifically in canada.

Anyone know of a good US company?
Thanks,
Stephen

i just ordered some live plants from ebay. the dealer was "mikeswetpets". communication was great, he gave me a prompt refund no questions asked for an overpayment on shipment. he reduces shipping price if you order more than one plant from him. I haven't gotten the plants yet, but will let you know how they arrive. The way it's been so far, I'm pretty sure I'll order from him again.

My experience with LiveAquaria.com was not so great. The plants were not shipped with any water, just wrapped in newspaper, so many of them were rotted by the time they arrived. They did give me a refund for the dead plants, but it was less than the amount I paid for them. $49 for 12 plants, so more than $4 per plant, but refund for 3 plants was only $9.53 :(

I've ordered plants from mikeswetpets on ebay and they are gorgeous! I'm sure you won't be disappointed! I do live in the same state though, so even priority shipping got them to me overnight. Hopefully yours will arrive just as well out in CA!

Great to hear! Can't wait to get them, they're arriving Saturday.

I have had good experiences in getting plants from other hobbyists on plantgeeks

You may have to join the forum, but Off-Ice usually has amazing plants for sale a a great price! :)

Thanks everyone ! for all your suggestions as I revitalize my tank that has been running for 10 years.

Canadian suppliers

If you were able to find some for Canada, would you mind posting them so that myself and other fellow Canadians might be able to use them?? Thanks.
