AH Supply 2x55 light kit in a 55 gallon tank

Hi,
I'm supposed to be getting an AH Supply 2x55 kit on Monday for my 55gallon long tank.

Anyone have recommendations on plants that would be good in this tank with this light setup?

Anyone have a recommendation on a glass top to use with this setup?

AllGlass makes a glass hood that fits perfectly and makes the tank very accessible. They are pretty much available at all LFSs.

The lighting is exactly what I've got in my 55s. In this environment you can grow all Cryptocoryne(except Parva IME), all Anubia, Vallisneria, Sagitaria, Java Fern and Moss (makes a nice ground cover in this light, E. Tenellus, Tiger Lotus, and Bacopa Carolinia.
I am currently growing all of the above in my tanks. The jury is still out on Barclaya Longifolia under this wattage.

Thanks for the detailed information on the plants, that is great to hear. I am compiling a list of plants I want to grow with this setup and will be sure to include those.

Any idea how the amazon swords will do?

They will grow huge, take over your tank, and you will learn to hate them and if you're like me will rip them out and vow never to plant an Amazon Sword in any tank smaller than a 100 gal. unless it is a very small variety.
When I pulled mine, I had to pull up more than 1/2 (not a bit of an exaggeration here) of my substrate. That's how extensive the root systems get on them. I had one in each of the back corners and pulling them out was a total fiasco.
