I've been told by a friend that a large gar he kept and an arawana broke glass tanks that he had and made a mess. I don't think my 16 inch pickerel has a chance of breaking my 210 but now I'm curious. Maybe something hard was banging into the glass when the fish got excited. I'm thinking a heater element or rock decoration must have shattered it?
Anyone hear of large fish breaking tank glass?

Ohhhh yesss, that happens. Pacu's are famous for it. I've seen the destruction first hand. (not on any of my tanks)
I have heard that full size Bala Sharks can break a tank. They will start on one side of the tank and full blast hit the other side. I'm sure that along with some rocks hitting, due to a fish hitting it, at the same time could do some good damage.
