I would say 10-15, possibly more if you have live plants or really keep up with the water changes and filtration. What kind of filter ya got?

No there wont be any other fish, and i dont think its so great of a filter, its an in tank "Tetra" whisper filter up to ten gallons. If thats not powerful enough maby they sell better in tank filters.(i need an in tank because its up against a wall)

Oh, and i have 5 real plants, dont know there names..
