Are you going to leave the Texas in there? I know every fish has a different personality regardless of what species they may be but the Texas I had turned into a big meanie! I had him in with my 12in Jaguar and when he got around 4 inches, he started picking on her! Poor girl had nipped fins and scratches on her cheek. He would hide behind the driftwood and pop out just to bite at her. She'd chase him sometimes but she has a dislocated jaw so she wasn't able to get back at him. I had to remove him to another tank.

No the Texas is just in there long enough to grow up a bit.

I took the last one out too soon and my Killer male JD in the other tank made short work of him. This guy will be bigger before I remove him. This one has quite a bit of spunk to him but seems more docile than the last.

Like you said each fish ahs a personallity. Who knows he might just end up staying. I will have to wait and see.
