I know everyone gets tired of seeing and answering this question, bu how more many fish can I have? I currently have 4 Platies, 3 Zebra Danios, and four Black Skirt Tetras in 55 gallon tank. I have looked and looked and just can't decide what kind to get next! I know I would like something that has some size to it, to kindof draw attention to it, but pretty much everything I have seen thats remotely large is agressive or semi-agressive. It wouldn't hurt if it had some color to it also! :D Thanks for any suggestions guys!

Depends on your filtration and maintenance schedule..but you could fit quite a bit more fish in there, but don't push it too hard.
Personally, I would try to get some bottom feeders if I were you, and probably a couple more schools of tetra or barb. A few more danios wouldn't hurt either. Keyhole cichlids get to be a decent size and arent aggressive at all. An angelfish and a couple of pearl gouramis will get along fine and none are too aggressive either. Take a look at my 55 set-up in my specs page, and you'll see that I'm really pushing the envelope on my stocking levels, but my filtration, maintenance schedule and experience make it possible. Also, I've utilized most of the available space in the tank, as I have all swimming areas covered. Fish at top, midwater, and bottom.

I don't have many fish either, but my favorites are Clown Loaches, and I also have Pygmy Cories (they are really cute and they school so you should get at least 5-6). Or maybe you could get pimelodus pictus (spotted pictus catfish). They are silver with black spots and swim constantly.

Congo tetras get over 4" very mollow but will live with semi-agresive.
The best bet in my opinion try a pair of bolivion rams.

"Slappy pulls out his magnifying glass"..lol..just bustin' chops:p
Heh, not MY congo tetras! They killed 2 freshly added rummynoses just 2 weeks ago. I decided the other fish in the tank were worth more to me so I traded the congos in for some plants and a sparkling gourami.
