Hello all, my name is Jeff and I just wanted to start by saying hello to everyone on the forum. I know most people coming here are looking for help or are willing to help others and that is great. I just wanted to post a few rules for everyone to see to help keep the forum respectable for everyone visiting.

1. No Profanity
2. Be Respectful of Everyone
3. No Fighting
4. Try to stay on Topic
5. No Spamming

All in all please be kind and helpful. If you are simply going to argue or make problems please leave now. If a poster does not take your advice DO NOT go and reply back leaving a rude comment, just leave the thread alone.

If you ever have any questions, comments, problems, ect feel free to send a PM my way. I will do what I can to resolve whatever the issue, good or bad, may be.

Again thanks for visiting and I hope that you enjoy the site.

Best Regards,
Jeff

I would like to say Hi to you back! I would also like to say I know there has been alot of disagreements going around about how you and your staff are running things so far, many I do agree with the majority on, but I would like to add that I have seen a great improvement in the troll and spam department and other things like speed and nicer posts, this I would like to thank you for. Just please don't let this turn into a site we have to watch everything we say this has alway's been a very easy going site and it would be nice to see it stay that way.

Good luck with what you are trying to do here, I can't wait to see how it all ends up (hopefully for the best) I really hate to lose this place.

Thanks again for the good you HAVE done,

Gin

Thank you!

What a relief! Thank you for calling this issue to, hopefully, everyone's attention. I am brand new to this site and thought I'd start reading a few posts before I introduce my "babies" and seek "parental" advice....

After reading some of them tonight; needlessly to say, I was concerned about whether I was going to feel like walking on egg shells whenever I may need to post any questions.

I suppose all the experts and experienced here on the forum are being looked up to and usually urgently needed as a great source of assistance to especially the newbies (perhaps myself included). Your "parental" styles and skills or methods are very important and influential to the rest. How do we all teach our kids?

Again, thank you, Needeles, for the immediate reminder for us all to be kind and respectful! ;)

I understand what you are saying and do hope to keep this a friendly place. As long as everyone is able to be respectful and abide by the basic rules then things will be fine, but as with any other thing in life there must be some sort of structure.

Please do not feel this way. Keep in mind that every Moderator here is also a member of the site just as you and we want to help you if you need it. As long as the question is appropriate then we have no problem helping you out. There are just certain things that should not be asked and they are usally pretty obvious questions.

Sunni Side Up, welcome to the site!!! :hi:
I'd just like to clarify that it's still OK to ask "stupid" questions (there are no stupid questions), as long as you can justify it. One-line posts with no background information or explanation as to why you asked, are more likely to result in "bashing" as it seems the poster is not serious. From your one post so far, Sunni, it seems that you are a conscientious person who communicates well, so I don't think your threads will cause you to be flamed. Feel better? :)

I should have clarified this alittle better. I agree with plah831 on this one. If someone is just posting to post and not really serious then we take that as unneeded.
