I just recieved my order of Rainbows from "Tanner".
Has anyone else received very young fish? I thought my previous rainbows were young, but these are the smallest fish I own. Zebra Danio size or smaller. Is this typical for an experience with Tanner?
I expected this from the Millenniums, they were advertised at 1", but I wasn't expecting 1" Boesmani's..some are just over, but if they're 1.5", it's counting the tails. He promises bright orange tails, and that I would be estatic with the purchase, but how can I confirm when the fish are too young to show color.
My Millenniums are staying in a tight school, they're shareing a tank with two of the new Boemsani's and two cory cats. That's 11 fish total, and probably 12" of fish.
To my question is: How long does it take these guys to grow out? I purchased my Praecox at about the size of these Boesmani and they've grown quite a bit in a month, but my Boesmani were 1.5-2" at purchase and haven't grown much.
