Could i use poly-fil fiberfill as filter floss? I bought the the first type on this website:
http://www.poly-fil.com/fiberfill.asp

its says it:
"100% Polyester
Non-Allergenic
Washable
America's best selling polyester fiberfill
Does not shift or bunch
Available in many package
sizes and bulk cartons"

so do you guys think it would be safe to use this as filter floss, or would it be harmful to the fish?

I have used that in my tanks and I have not had any ill effect as of yet. It has been running for 3 months.

I use poly batting in my sump and have been doing so since day 1.

The only things I would cation you against are these: make sure it's 100% polyester (not cotton or wool) and check the label for mold inhibitors.
