how do i reduce aggression between a 5 inch rd and a 6 inch oscar in a 75 gallon tank.Is there a way i could do this.Help please

the red devil is supposed to be much more aggressive and will likely seriously injure the oscar at some point, regardless of the oscar's larger size. However, as you probably know, aggression does vary on individual cichlids. Either way both won't fit as adults in the 75 gallon.

You could reduce aggression by putting a separater in the tank or moving one of them to a 55(at least) of their own. You could use a store bought separater or make one out of egg crate which is a lot cheaper.

Sometimes, adding dither fish (usually a slightly smaller schooling fish) will help reduce aggression.

I think your best bet in this situation would be to add a tank divider. Your oscar will most likely get torn up by the red devil if there left together.
