The other day, i noticed one of our angels with a split dorsal fin. It looked like he had two. Then, two days later, it "melded" back to one. Do you think he was injured and then healed himself? Or is this something else? Thanks
sometimes fins split. then like other wounds they heal (did you know fish never stop growing--might not be very noticeable as they age--they just keep going).
Think about what other fish are in the tank.
Think about the current in the tank--do not want a lot of current with angels.
Think about the diet. Flakes, veggies, shrimp/krill, maybe live and frozen foods. Read the labels on the food containers--you will see a huge difference, one that is well worth paying a little extra for.
