yup, me either. even though ghosties are clear and harder to see than red cherries, they are lots of fun. they do all kinds of fun antics, like a couple of mine (father and daughter) would turn upside down at the surface to catch flakes. even though i've heard they "only live a few months" i've kept some that lived a year and a half. the females tend to be a big larger and longer than the males. the older ghost shrimp also are not entirely clear, but will develop red accents on the tips of their antennae and their legs. they're really neat, i would highly recommend them.
however, shrimps and other inverts are extremely sensitive to water quality and will be the first to die if you have ammonia, nitrite, or too much nitrate. never use copper meds with them, as those will definitely kill them.
