undergravel heaters?

What are the pros/cons of having a undergravel heater on a planted tank?

Im researching for a upgrade on my 10 planted I only have regular gravel in there now and the rocks are a little too big, so I was going to get some sort of substrate for plants, and may or may not have a heater under there, Is this the way to go or not?

I used to be a proponent of substrate heating before coming to AC last year. RTR got me squared away on the subject. It's not necessary and has questionable, if any, benefit. Save your money.
