Hello all!
Here is my 7 gallon MiniBow tank that houses my two dwarf puffers. It has gone through many changes, simply through trial and error with the plants. Some have stayed, and some have died. The plants that are doing the best are my background ones that I grew from one of the random bulb packages at my LFS. The fava fern is really my newest addition. And I have a monda grass (which i now know is not aquatic) that was given to me months ago but is still hanging in there.
The substrate is a mix of sand & laterite and gravel....and I think its pretty thick, could be thicker?
As for the plants, I really just toss in the Seachem liquid food stuff a couple times a week.
I have the basic lighting system that came with the tank, and wasn't sure if I needed more.
I have been reading this forum and trying to gain more info, but a lot of the stuff seems over my head to be honest, ha! Just curious if anyone has any suggestions for my tank of what plants might be good to add or anything else!
