Would anything leach off of PVC pipe into a pond, Im subcontracting a job for a lady and she has a outdoor pond and would like to build a stand (out of PVC pipe) for her pump to set on...
Thanks!

Isn't that what most pond liners are made of (PVC) ?

Pond liners are made of some derivative of polyethylene, similar to but not exactly like PVC (polyvinylchloride). In any case, as long as there is no cement or other fixative on the PVC, it shouldn't leach anything. I use it in my tanks for hiding spots. I would wash and rinse it well first, however.

I use PVC and ABS in my pond, no problems in the 10+ years it's been set up.
