I have searched the my entire local area - within a 30 mile radius - and I cannot find a centerpiece for my 90 gallon tank. I am looking for a piece that resembles a tree trunk, but I can't seem to finda credible place to find one - most lfs' are telling me that they can order large pieces from distributors, but its the luck of the draw if it is the type I am looking for. Can anyone direct me?

Try gardenia1650 on ebay. I just bought some of her smaller driftwood pieces and it looks great. I know she had some nice stumps listed previously. Even with shipping, the cost is about what you can expect to pay at the LFS. At least with ebay you can see what you're getting and if it fits with the vision for your tank.

aqua-bid and ebay both have many driftwood pieces, I go to both and was just there last night...I can't remember which but one did have a tree trunk one that looked nice.

Good luck!
