Surely it had to be released there. I'm surprised it lived even for a short time.

HOLEY CR*P, that would be crazy....go fishin and reel in a octopus (IN OHIO)!! Someone had to of released it, did you read the part that say's it's not legal to own them but it IS legal to release them into the wild

I think you got it backwards its legal to own them, but illegal for you to release them into the wild.

I don't think someone released it....that thing was a monster, someone'd have a hard time raising it to get that big.

6 feet from tip to tip... thats huge. if someone was going to raise it what size tank would they need? i just couldnt imagine...
