You can try a school of 3-6 Cory's. Or you can get a Rubberlip Pl*co.

Looking for a good clean up crew for uneatin food, algieI have two albino bristlenose plecos in my 55 gallon tank. They max out between 4 and 6 inches. Rubberlipped plecos also stay pretty small. If you get more than one, get a couple when they are young. Plecos are not social fish but will tolerate others that they are raised with. I also have yoyo loaches in that same tank and love those guys. They also max out at about 4 inches and they are friendly and well suited for community tanks but should have a school, ideally 5 or more.
Take care,
Mary.
P.S. All bottom feeders diets need to be supplemented with fresh veggies and wafers. They cannot survive on algae and detritus only.

You can have more than 6 cories right? I've never had more than three, but everyone always says 6.. but never that it's okay to have more than that. Sorry to cut in, but I didn't want to post another thread and it seemed a bit appropriate. ^^;;

Of course you can have more than 6 as long as your tank and filter can support them.
