Oscar in bad shape

I've been going to this LFS for some time now and recently they got a huge Albino tiger oscar in pretty bad shape, Pitting on his head and lateral line,

I know it's HITH and lateral line diesease. What Can I suggest to them so they can save him? He's just to beautiful of a fish to let pass on.
 
Assuming he is in a large enough tank....many water changes and the use of Clout...thats what I did for an Oscar i rescued...most scars have healed and he is doing great!
 
HITH can be caused by a lack of vitamins and nutrients. Tell them to try to soak Cichlid pellets or sticks in some Zoecon or Vitachem as this will help provide vitamins that may be missing.

Also just some good ol water changes will help. I combo of both should help.
