Do african dwarf frogs need 2 be fed frozen bloodworms or can I just feed them sinking pellets.

I would offer them both, even tubifex worms. I used to stick a piece of the tubifex cube on the side of the tank near the bottom, and watch in glee as my frogs yanked and ripped them apart! If you try the shrimp pellets you could always smash them up a bit so they are the right size for the little fella. Remember they like sinking food, not the type of 'floating' pellets. Omega One shrimp pellets are always a favorite, and they sink too!

A variety of foods is best, and they love frozen bloodworms, but I have read they are not very nutritious for them, so should not be exclusively fed, like twice a week is good. Mine also like brine shrimp, and will occasionally eat the pellets. If your ADF's are part of a community tank, then make sure they are getting enough to eat, they don't see well, and find their food mostly by smell. My point being, if you just throw the frogs food in the tank, the other fish may get to it first, some people (including myself) feed their frogs with a tweezer.
