What size tank and what other inhabitants do you plan to have in the tank with them.

In general I would not. Keeping them in a school minimizes but does not eliminate aggression. What are the other fish you are considering and what size is your tank?

Ok how many of each do you have and what do you mean by other fish?

Just by looking at the other types of fish you have I would have to say no, but other may have different opinions.

Tiger barbs are fun--very active and pretty--but I've been doing research on them and many people think that they do best in a species only tank. I started out trying to have tiger barbs in a community tank, but it is now a species only tank (with two cory who are going to the gourami tank asap cause the barbs are nipping their fins)

I've read about some people having larger schools of tigers in very large community tanks with less aggression--but my school of nine is still pretty aggressive.

I would think the cherry barbs and cories should be OK - just make sure there are plenty of hiding spaces and different parts of the tank for them to go to when needed. Not sure about the others, though.
