Id say you are a bit overstocked, or atthe least, right on the line. The mollies will get bigger and if they are a m/f pair you will have many mollies. And, its just not that much swimming space. You should be doing frequent water changes using a gravel vacuum and minimally feeding. Theyd do better in at least a 10, IMO, and you could then add a couple more mollies.

Shrimp do add to the bioload, maybe not much per shrimp but it adds up. Id wager that 5 ghosties would be about the equivalent of 1 smallish thin fish, like a zebra danio.

i had no idea that i could not keep 3 fish in a six gallon, nothing has ever happened.the fish are healthy and i have the water tested weekly.i would understand if it were a 2 or 3 gallon.yes i do plan on moveing the mollies when they grow, thanks for your concerns! :)

Like I said....if you are overstocked....your tank will tell you. If you've had these fish in there and the parameters have been fine.....I wouldn't worry. If there were too many fish and the tank couldn't handle it, you would know.

The only concern would be having zippy swimmers....like danios for example.... in a tank that small......even though they're small enough that they wouldn't over burden a tank that size, they would go nuts in a space that small...probably get sick from stress etc.
