Yes..nice tank! Is it plant only?
I saw a plant only aquarium at a LFS nearby. Seems like the owner 'gave up' on the tank. He was using pressurized CO2 and it looked excellent the first time I saw it. A month or so went by and it looks rather bad. Algae ridden and CO2 stone is not clean causing large bubbles... Oh well, guess there's not enough time for him to keep up with it..

It's not a plant only. I have 12 small fish in there. I'm still deciding what else I might add. My wife wants something with color. I'm going to the lfs in a couple of days.
I have:
3 Rosy Barbs
3 Cherry Barbs
3 Aenus Cories
3 Ottos

Cardinal Tetras have good color, mostly red of course. The Cardinal is supposedly hardier than some of the other Tetras.

just the other day i read conflicting advice to what you just gave, joe. it was stated that neons were by far hardier and easier to keep than cardinals, and i was reluctant to agree with it. but, then again you didnt say it was hardier than the neon, just than some of the other tetras. just thought id say that thou...

Thom336,
I heard, awhile back, that the Neon is not as hardy as the Cardinal. Hmmm?

i guess it depends upon the quality of stock you can get your hands on, and the conditions that you provide. i guess each fish is just as hardy as each other inits own right when certain conditions are met. maybe our sources are just basing what they say on personal experiance, whereby one has had more success with the cardinal, and so sees it as more hardy, and the other has had more success with the neon, and so that as the most hardy.

I've thought about cardinals and neons. I'm just not sure yet. I'm going Wednesday afternoon to look. My lfs that I go to get their new shipments in every Tuesday morning. Hopefully I'll find what I'm looking for. That is still up in the air.:D
