What else do you have in the tank?
Also, what do you have for hardware?

Has this tank cycled yet? If not, i recommend no fish until its done.

Is the tank tall? Wide? Dimensions etc.
What kind of fish do you like? I mean there are tons of options and you have a decent size to work with.

Westide,
I wasn't trying to be mean or ask more questions, but you stated that you had fish die. Alot of people who say that, and then ask for fish opinions haven't cycled their tank. I am assuming the fish died while cycling? I cant give an opinion on the fish you chose, I dont have any of the ones your considering and really don't know their requirements. Just make sure all water parameters are good, and go to dr foster and smiths website where they have a little chart that tells you what fish are compatible. HTH.

I have been told that the chart on DFS isn't accurate, which after studying the list more carefully, I've noticed that most of the fish that they say can been housed together "with caution" really shouldn't be kept together at all.
Here's the link. See for yourself:

Yeah sophie,
I'm not sure of the accuracy of the chart itself, but its better than nothing at least for peope who really dunno if 2 species will get along

I'm pretty partial to this site for it's compatibility chart..it's missing a few types but otherwise pretty nice: http://www.timstropicals.com/Compatibility/NameResults.asp
