I am very new to this posting tread thing. I'm not sure where to find it when I get through. I had a saltwater tank and I have emptyed that. I had this really pretty white rock in it. It has been setting out of water for months now. Is there anyway I can put that rock in a freshwater tank. The rock is so nicely formed and there is a lot of it. I would hate to just throw it away. :help:

is it small enough to boil? Ocean rock or dead coral will be fine for the ph of your tank... it might add a little salt content but that is ok also. I would boil it for an hour or so if possible.
For a rift lake tank and other hard water high PH appliccation, yes, for anything else, and especially not soft water fish like neons, angels, rams, ect., no.
