That looks like a map turtle to me. Contrary to popular beleif I have been wrong before ;).
Is that a wild turtle or did you introduce it yourself ??

The turtle was in a canal off a local lake. Seemed sluggish, and I was wondering if some gas residue from boats in the canal had something it do with it. I brought the turtle home not quite a year ago and seems to be doing better than when I found it.
