Hey i bought a Aqua One 380 and i want to start a nano reef, but i dont know if the light that is built into it could support coral. The tube says "PL-11W RED/WHITE" and when i turn it on one tube is a pinkish red, and the other is a light green. Is the light ok? thanks.

Sorry, I don't think that that is a proper light for a reef...
A proper light should be blue/blueish (actinic) along with a regular white light (10000K). I assume that you are talking about fluorecsents of some sort right? They should be... unless you get fancier lighting.

Also, you want AT LEAST 3 watts of light per gallon (even this is very low, but I got away with 3 wpg in my nano).

Hope this helps a little...

with any luck something like this (http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/Prod_Display.cfm?pcatid=11382&N=2004+113345) should work for a nano reef for you

It's an 11 watt compact flourescent bulb.
