I've been thinking...if I were to get rid of my common pleco would I be able to get an EBJD? Or would I have to wait until my Bala is gone?

Depends on how large your other fish are, and how large the EBJD is. EBJD are a less agressive than the JD. I think you'll be fine if there not a big difference in size. Good luck

You might want to get of the bala too I would they like to be in schools. Then you should have no problems with the EBJD
My BP's are about 6 to 7 inches. My Chocolate is just a youngster at about 2 1/2 inches.
I would really prefer not to get rid of the Bala at this point cause I've had him for about seven years. He actually schools with the Silver Dollars some. Plus if I got rid of him someone with no knowledge of Balas would put him in a 55 or something. :\
