I finally found my beloved yoyo's at a lfs that I had completely forgotten existed but I'm a little worried about it. This thread goes into detail about it...and craigs list lol

Anyways, there were only about 4 of them and I'm not sure of their popularity here or the # of customers that go through that store everyday, but I'm worried that they may not have anymore by the time I have my tank set up and ready to go, and that they may not be ordering anymore as they didn't even know that they had any or what they were...sort of...

So here's my question: my 10 gallon is finally cycled and I have returned the lone giant danio and have 3 zebra danios left but can easily return these to my work if I would need more room. I want to know if I could go ahead and get 3 YoYo's now (they are less than 2" in length) and keep them temporarily (up to 2 months) in my 10 gallon until my new 30 is set-up and cycled. I'm most likely going to do a fishless cycle. If they grow quickly and will outgrow the holding tank before I can get my new one up then I'm not going to do it but, they would be going in there to be quarentined anyways, just not for 2 months. Let me know what you think...Thanks!!

I think for a temporary home, that would be fine. I have had mine since february and they arent even 4 inches. Just make sure you get them moved asap.

Do you have the 30 gallon tank yet? If so why not use the filter from the 10 gallon tanks filter on the 30 gallon tank. It will be plenty of filtration for just the three yo-yo's.

No, I don't have it yet. I'll probably use my 10's filter while cycling, but I'm still doing a fishless cycle. I'll probably be getting it in a couple of weeks when my bank account has a little more in it ;) .
