my johanni is between 2-3 inches and its dorsal fin is black. is he a male or can i not tell yet. there is only 1 other johanni in the whole tank and neither are showing male colors so its not because there is a dominant male in there.
would my johanii show its male colors yet???

every once in a while he will look darker but he is always lurking in the shadows so i cant really tell. do you know whether it may be possible that he may not show his colors if there is a dominant male of another species in there.
