right now i have 30g freshwater tank and i have mono, scat, archerfish on it. if i convert it to brackish, whats the first step to do?. and whats the right density for my fish?.

Sorry, but those fish will get too big for a 30 gallon.

If you still want a brackish tank, and are planning on getting different brackish fish, make sure to use marine salt.

how about the density of my fish?. how can i turn my freshwater to brackish slowly. because i dont want to make sudden water change.

you need to go through the transition slowly, and increase the SG by about 0.002 to 0.003 per week, until the SG is about half marine strength. you will need to get a bigger tank.

Just to give you some idea, the scat will grow the size of a dinner plate, the archer ~1' & the mono also ~1' but they are schooling fish.
