Copepod harvesting

Six months ago I dismantled my wet/dry and set up a refugium (the best thing I have done for my tank). Proudly I can say I have ALOT of copepods running through the macro and rubble rock. Question: How do I get these tasty little treats to the main tank for my fish? Should I just take the foam sleeve off the return pump to the main tank and just let them get sucked up? Is their some secret pod harvesting technique that I am not aware of?

depending on how fine the foam sleeve is, they will get picked up by your pump naturaly.
but if it is pretty fine, that is exactly what you should do, take off the foam sleeve for a while. even put the sleeve in the tank and shake it. they will usualy condregate around there.
