Hi would keeping a small dwarf puffer (only one) in a 1/2 gallon tank be torture? These guys are so small and dont need that much room it seems
EDIT: I found a 2 gallon tank. Would that work?

The 1/2 gal is definitely too small for any fish. The 2 gal is also too small. Physically, it might be OK, but it would be psychological torture as dp's are intelligent. I think it would start to pace like a caged zoo animal. In short, not happy, which can lead to not healthy.

Most people suggest at the very least 3 gallons per dwarf puffer.
