[One/Eighth]

My Loach recently jumped out of the tank by the filter and was on the floor for an unknown amount of time. He seemed ok at first once I put him back into the water. Now after a few days have past hes seemed to gotten worse. Around his mouth on his little tentacles got redish then it kind of spread through out his face. Now it looks like a redish white color on his face as well as his back part of his body. He also has some red spots on his body. If anyone knows anything or can direct me to where i can I.D. this please reply.

could be stress but sounds like he may pass on, usually fish that jump end up passing because of stress

Hes most likely irritated fom being out of water and on the floor flopping around. Think cuts/abrasions. Keep his water extra clean and you may want to does something such as melafix.

Red streaked are most often associated with bacterial septicemia, not stress. You can try maracyn 2. If you Google it, most sites indicate treatment is less than affective in saving the fish unless it's caught with in hours.
