after a long time of watching my fish i was wondering if it was possible to feed my freshwater cichlids some kind of saltwater fish (cheap ones) I theorized that since saltwater diseases and parasites cant live in freshwater then if i just feed the fish to my cichlids they couldnt get sick in any possible way.. my friends dad has been feeding his saltwater fish goldfish for a long time like 9 years and he has told me they have never caused any diseases in the tank. i dont really trust my beautiful fishys life on just his word alone and besides it is probably alot differant feeding s/w to f/w
